ANCHA

The Australian Nurses' Cardiovascular and Hypertension Association Inc (ANCHA) was formed in 1996 and aims to:

  • create a forum for the advancement and sharing of knowledge concerning hypertension and related cardiac diseases
  • improve patient care by providing links between research, education and clinical practice
  • encourage continuing education and professional collaboration to maintain clinical research expertise, professional status and profession development
  • develop uniform standards of practice in hypertension and related cardiovascular nursing
Membership is open to nurses and Allied Health Professionals with an interest in hypertension and cardiovascular are invited to join ANCHA. Several ANCHA members specialise in clinical research, forming a special network across trials and different aspects of cardiovascular disease. Any enquiry may be addressed to the Secretary.
